Labrador Chocolate Hand Painted Ceramic Heart Super Seconds

For the Labrador who can hear a packet of biscuits being opened from three rooms away. 🤎🐾

This lovely hand painted Chocolate Labrador ceramic heart decoration features a gorgeous chocolate Lab sitting patiently in the snow, wrapped up in either a cheerful green and red striped scarf or r.ed scarf

With its warm chocolate-brown coat, gentle expression and classic Labrador silhouette, the design is individually hand painted by me in my Shropshire studio. Raised white details create falling snow and snowy drifts beneath the dog's paws.

Finished with a white organza ribbon for hanging, this handmade ceramic heart would make a lovely Chocolate Labrador gift, Christmas decoration or special keepsake for anyone completely devoted to their Lab.

Why is this a Super Second?

This Chocolate Labrador heart is joining my Super Seconds Festival because the glaze has developed crazing during firing.

Crazing appears as a network of very fine lines within the glazed surface. It means the heart doesn't quite meet the standard I require for my full-priced ceramics, but it's still far too lovely not to find a home.

Please note that crazing is notoriously difficult to photograph. The fine lines can be almost invisible in some lighting and become much more noticeable when the light catches the glaze at certain angles.

I've photographed this heart in different lighting to show the crazing as clearly as possible, so please zoom in and look carefully at all the photographs before purchasing.

As each heart is individually hand painted, there may also be slight variations in brushstrokes, colour and detailing.

Perfectly imperfect, extremely handsome and probably hoping there's a treat involved. 😂🤎🐾
