Greyhound Brindle Hand Painted Ceramic Heart Super Seconds

For the Greyhound who can go from 40mph to professional sofa ornament in seconds. 🐾❤️

This beautiful hand painted Brindle Greyhound ceramic heart decoration features an elegant Greyhound sitting amongst the snow, wrapped up warmly in a red scarf.

The brindle coat has been individually hand painted with lots of little brushstrokes to create its distinctive markings, while raised white details create falling snow and snowy drifts beneath the dog's paws.

Each heart is hand painted by me in my Shropshire studio, so no two will ever be completely identical.

Finished with a white organza ribbon for hanging, this would make a thoughtful Greyhound gift, Christmas decoration or keepsake for someone who has completely fallen for this wonderfully gentle breed.

Why is this a Super Second?

This Brindle Greyhound heart is joining my Super Seconds Festival because the glaze has developed crazing during firing.

Crazing appears as a network of very fine lines within the glazed surface. It means the heart doesn't quite meet the standard I require for my full-priced ceramics, but it's still far too lovely to go to waste.

Please note that crazing is notoriously difficult to photograph. The fine lines can be almost invisible in some lighting and may only become noticeable when the glaze catches the light at certain angles.

I've tried to show the crazing as clearly as possible in the photographs, so please zoom in and look carefully at all the images before purchasing.

As each heart is individually hand painted, there may also be slight variations in brushstrokes, colour and detailing.

Perfect? Not quite. Ready to retire to a comfortable sofa? Absolutely. 😂🐾
