French Bulldog Fawn Hand Painted Ceramic Heart Super Seconds

Small dog. Big personality. Absolutely no intention of being ignored. 🐾❤️

This charming hand painted Fawn French Bulldog ceramic heart decoration features a little Frenchie sitting proudly in the snow, wrapped up against the winter chill in a warm rusty-orange scarf.

With those unmistakable bat ears, soft fawn colouring and wonderfully expressive face, this little dog is individually hand painted by me in my Shropshire studio. Raised white details create falling snow around the Frenchie and little snowy drifts beneath its paws.

Finished with a white organza ribbon for hanging, this would make a lovely French Bulldog gift, Christmas decoration or special keepsake for someone who adores their Frenchie.

Why is this a Super Second?

This French Bulldog heart is joining my Super Seconds Festival because the glaze has developed crazing during firing.

Crazing appears as a network of very fine lines within the glazed surface. It means the heart doesn't quite meet the standard I require for my full-priced ceramics, but it's still far too lovely to go to waste.

Please note that crazing is notoriously difficult to photograph. The fine lines can be almost invisible in some lighting and may only become noticeable when the glaze catches the light at certain angles.

I've tried to show the crazing as clearly as possible in the photographs, so please zoom in and look carefully at all the images before purchasing.

As each heart is individually hand painted, there may also be slight variations in brushstrokes, colour and detailing.

Slightly imperfect? Apparently. Although judging by that expression, the Frenchie would like to dispute this. 😂🐾
