Dalmatian Liver spotted Hand Painted Ceramic Heart Super Seconds (Copy)

For the Dalmatian lover who prefers their spots with a little chocolatey twist. 🤎🐾

This beautiful hand painted liver spotted Dalmatian ceramic heart decoration features an elegant Dalmatian sitting amongst the snow, with distinctive soft brown spots and a rather lovely pink and red spotted scarf.

Each one is individually hand painted by me in my Shropshire studio, with raised white details creating falling snow and snowy drifts around the dog's paws.

Finished with a white organza ribbon for hanging, this would make a lovely liver spotted Dalmatian gift, Christmas decoration or special keepsake for someone who shares their home – and probably their sofa – with one of these beautiful spotty dogs.

Size & Details

Approximate heart size: 11cm x 12cm

Individually hand painted in my Shropshire studio.

Why is this a Super Second?

This Dalmatian heart is joining my Super Seconds Festival because the glaze has developed crazing during firing.

Crazing appears as a network of very fine lines within the glazed surface. It means the heart doesn't quite meet the standard I require for my full-priced ceramics, but it's still far too lovely to go to waste.

Please note that crazing is notoriously difficult to photograph. The fine lines can be almost invisible in some lighting and may only become noticeable when the glaze catches the light at certain angles.

I've tried to show the crazing as clearly as possible in the photographs, so please zoom in and look carefully at all the images before purchasing.

As each heart is individually hand painted, there may also be slight variations in brushstrokes, colour and detailing.

After all, when you're already covered in spots, what's another little line or two? 😂🤎🐾
